What is Stainable Hot Stamp Foil?

CPS CPS Resources, Inc. has developed a Hot Stamp Foil that can be applied to PVC extrusion that absorbs stain. It is well known that PVC alone does not absorb stain. The designs offered are simple skeleton woodgrain designs, i.e. Oak, Maple, Cherry, etc. Using these common skeleton woodgrain designs, the end user can now "customize" the PVC extrusion with their favorite stain, giving an authentic wood appearance. Oil based, water based stains or clear coats can be applied to this stainable hot stamp foil. A clear benefit is that manufacturing can keep far less SKU's on hand while delivering many decorative choices to the end customer. No easier way to match PVC extrusion to real wood product line.
